Left with 20 seconds, there’s this thought (possibly a tad sanctimonious):
My mother spent the last three years of her life in a nursing home, dying there (alone) at age 88. Residents of long term care facilities are now being prioritized for the vaccine. I’m 110% confident were Mom still here, she’d decline saying: “I’m good. If there’s anything left after our grandchildren are vaccinated, come back
then.”
In memory of her and “The Greatest Generation,” let’s see to it all the front line workers are immunized ASAP. And, not just nurses, doctors, cops, firemen and first responders. Take care of our grocery store clerks, delivery men & women, postal workers, and all the other countless essential workers. (What, no insurance brokers on this list!!)
Next, my wife.
After that, I’ll look to Sir Walter Raleigh (or Edward Smith) to learn when it’s my turn.
MERRY CHRISTMAS.
