I Googled Symbicort and found out that the manufacturer offers a downloadable card that would bring the cost to $0! I took the card to my pharmacy and they didn’t even know this was available.”

Google is a great resource but don’t forget the obvious.

Your health insurer’s formularies are also easily found on line. They can be a bit intimidating but offer lots of alternates for more expensive medications.

For those of you like me who barely know what an app is, there’s still the option of talking with your pharmacist and doctor.

As they say, “a stitch in time saves nine.”
