Not to start the New Year sounding maudlin, but on this day 54 years ago my Dad died. He was just 49.

In that context, it’s hard not to wonder how many more Tips I’ll be around to write. And, if there’s work to be done, time’s a wastin’!!

Dad died within weeks of being diagnosed with a malignant glioma. How many more years would he have lived if, instead of being referred to the hospital's on-staff neurologist, he had access to the one specialist who could have saved his life?
