REMEMBER WHEN THEY BANNED JARTS?
On December 19th, 1988 the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) banned the sale of all lawn darts. Remember tossing those in the back-yard; what could go wrong?!?!
Now there’s Pickleball, dubbed “America’s fastest growing sport.”
In the last three years, the number of players has increased by 159%, one third of whom are
seniors.

$250 - $500 million!!
The most common directly related claims; strains, sprains and fractures, with the wrist and lower leg being the most susceptible.
Then there’s other related elective procedures, like hip and knee replacements.
Makes me wonder if some bureaucrat at the CPSC – or even Medicare – is coming for your paddle.
Hey! Has anyone seen my ‘Slip ‘n Slide?’
