How is that even possible?

Haven’t there been multiple reports about staffing shortages?

They’re turning patients away! 

So, back to my highest paid athletes reference.

We’re supporting just one local superstar to the tune of $42.5 million.

For that same amount of money we could hire 283  nurses at $150K each. (An experienced nurse actually makes on average $92,348.)

One can’t help ask, which makes for the better highlight film; a dunk starting from the free-throw line or a nurse saving a life?

Knowing right this moment, somewhere a patient is desperately waiting with his thumb on a call button, it’s a question that shouldn’t even need to be asked.
