EVER HEARD OF THE 'HIGHWAY TO HEALTH?'
What started as a three day business trip, turned into an 8 day odyssey to explore ‘Historic Route 66.’

Anyhoo, after ~ 3,000 miles, I’ve now seen the
Cadillac Ranch, had breakfast at Kix on Route 66 (in ‘beautiful’ downtown Tucumcari, NM) and (this one is worth the pilgrimage) prayed at The Cathedral Basilica of St Francis of Assisi (in Santa Fe)!
Earlier today, all that windshield time afforded me the opportunity to discover Dr. Bob
Martin’s two hour syndicated talk show, appropriately dubbed “the highway to health.”
Maybe all of you have heard his shtick before, but this newby found it informative and entertaining. I mean, when was the last time your doctor spent two hours with you?!
But, apparently, shtick it is.
His credentials are dubious and he’s certainly shilling products and services.
That said, while listening, I couldn’t help think most of our more traditional doctors – employed (i.e., held captive) by Health Systems intent on maximizing revenues – aren’t all that different than Dr. Bob.
Except what they’re ‘selling,’ costs a whole lot more than prunes!
And often, have similar
outcomes!
