"IT'S LIKE DEJA VU ALL OVER AGAIN"
Could the first two days of October have been any prettier? (Well, if you’re Paul Chryst, yes!)
Would that the final 17 days be as ‘sunny!’
I say that because the Medicare Open Enrollment Period (OEP) begins on
the 15th (and ends December 7th).
Cue Namath, Shatner and company; new CMS marketing rules don’t seem to have appreciably changed their ubiquitous Medicare
Advantage sales pitches.

Here’s some better news.
‘Standard’ monthly premiums for Part B of Medicare will decrease in 2023 to $164.90 (from $170.10 this year). Ditto IRMAA.
There will also be a small drop in the Part B deductible for 2023; to $226 from $233. (Note however there are small increases to the Part A hospital stay deductible and daily co-pays.)
Preliminary Intel suggests premiums for some of Broadway Joe’s Advantage Plans and certain Part D drug plans will be also decrease slightly.
