Spent three days at a ‘Mastermind’ Conference this week.
Wazzat?
Ever hear of Napoleon Hill? I hadn’t either until a little over 10 years ago when (now good friend) Nelson Griswold (Nashville) brought together about a dozen benefits brokers from around the country to compare best practices and hear from cutting edge health care ‘revolutionaries.’
Thus it was fitting our Q2 Meeting was in the birthplace of the American Revolution.
Nelson has selectively grown our group to forty. (From a field of 315,000 brokers on LinkedIn alone; a statistic from speaker Jeffrey Hayzlett.) Great group with eye-opening content I’ll share in future Tips.
[After a July meeting in Indianapolis, I wrote about “telemedicine on steroids.” When you start seeing these mobile medical teams buzzing around metro-Milwaukee, remember you heard it first HERE!]
I close with a personal note to Nelson, as I know he’ll read this.
Pick up a copy of Breaking the Age Code, by Becca Levy, PhD. (Actually, you all might find it a good read.) In it she argues the “collective (e.g., Mastermind) culture” adds 7.5 years to life expectancy.
Owe ya’ big time. (Or, should I say “BOOM!”)
