Previously reported by the BLS - and arguably just as newsworthy - is the fact that in 2021 70 million Americans quit, were fired, retired or otherwise left their jobs.
Of that number, estimates are that 3 million employees per month are migrating from “crummy jobs” to “better jobs” and from “companies that don’t seem to care” to “companies that really really care.”
Consider only 11% of employers offer formal career advancement programs while just 13% even bother to survey employees to understand what they need. (Source: Healthy Organization

We interrupt this Tip out of respect for the people of Ukraine. Watching their exodus makes a discussion of our ‘great migration’
seem almost offensive. Until someone gets Putin back on his meds, ditto just about any other Tip topic; e.g., how long do you have to wait to see your oncologist . . . . . . in Kyiv or, what’s the cost of insulin . . . . . . in Mariupol?
And to think I wrote about anxiety last week (Tip # 538).
